Israeli company, Panoramic Power (Israel) and Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch (MNLB) of San Francisco, CA received BIRD Energy funding in 2011 to develop and test a low-cost, nonintrusive, real-time energy monitoring platform designed to help businesses save money, reduce energy use, manage sustainability initiatives and improve building operations. The product is currently being sold to a growing number of customers around the world. On Nov. 12. 2015, it was announced that Direct Energy has acquired Panoramic Power for $60 million.
