Somatix Technologies of Israel and Holy Family Senior Living of Bethlahem, PA (formerly Catholic Senior Housing and Health Care Services, Inc. (CSHHCS), developed a digital health system, SafeBeing, which allows caregivers the ability to continuously monitor, track and analyze the daily routines of older adults using a smart band and mobile app. The SafeBeing remote patient monitoring machine uses proprietary gesture detection technology, machine learning and advanced analytics to detect hand movements and activities such as walking, sleeping, eating and drinking, medication-adherence, falling and wandering. By tracking these activities, SafeBeing can discover variations in gestures that provide insights and trigger reminders for customers and alerts for caregivers and family members.
