Climate change is disrupting weather patterns, leading to unpredictable water availability, exacerbating water scarcity, and contaminating water supplies. Such impacts can drastically affect the quantity and quality of water that we need to survive.

For over 70 years, Israel developed water technologies and integrated water management systems. While 60% of Israel’s area is desert and the rest is semi-arid, Israel does not have water scarcity and no longer relies exclusively on RFNW (Renewable Fresh Natural Water).

You are cordially invited to learn about Israel water technologies and its integrated water management systems and about an on-going project developed by Onvector Inc., based in Somerville MA, and Netafim LTD., based in Israel; how it came about, what the companies are doing and how it was funded by BIRD Foundation.

This event is part of Brandeis University annual conference The Business of Climate Change 2022 and is co-sponsored by Brandeis International Business School, Asper Center for Global Entrepreneurship and Israel Initiative at Brandeis International Business School.
