mPrest Systems (Israel) and the New York Power Authority (NYPA) collaborated to develop an advanced command and control system to monitor, predict, prevent and control main assets in the power system.
The system has already proven to accurately predict transformer health beyond what is currently available in the industry. This solution, funded by the BIRD Foundation, provides NYPA with the ability to accurately predict potential transformer failures and is the most effective solution for reducing unplanned power plant and grid downtime, maintenance costs and operational risks.
