McGraw-Hill Education (New York, NY) acquired Tegrity (Israel) while collaborating on an advanced learning system – LOTUS
The companies received a BIRD grant for the development of LOTUS – a next a generation integrated student learning system that provides students with efficient access to and navigation between multiple sources of learning content. The product which is “like a searchable DVR for your college courses” was sold to hundreds of colleges and universities. Following the acquisition of Tegrity, McGraw-Hill opened an innovation center in Israel.
