Event Navigation
![]() Roundtable: Trends in Data Analytics in Israel’s Water Sector Israel’s water scarcity challenges are well known. Responding to these challenges, Israel achieved the highest water reuse rate (around 90%) and now gets about half of its fresh water from expensive desalination. Furthermore, Israel has been very ‘smart’ about managing and conserving water with the innovative application of smart water technology and data analytics. What does that innovation look like? What role does data analytics play in decisions about water conservation? And how does Israel’s leading role in smart water translate into opportunities for Minnesota companies? Join us Tuesday, November 10, 2020 for Minnesota Water Technology Roundtable: Trends in Data Analytics in Israel’s Water Sector for a virtual gathering and some great insights on these questions. The Minnesota Trade Office is pleased to partner with IOSight, a leading Israeli data analytics firm serving a variety of water and wastewater sector customers. IOSight is active in a number of global markets, and has several clients here in the United States. Guy Meiri, Head of Business Development at IOSight, will give the featured presentation at this event. We will also get an introduction to the BIRD Foundation from Andrea Yonah, Director of Business Development for the U.S. East Coast & Midwest for the BIRD Foundation. Is Israel on your radar for export or a possible strategic partnership? Steve Riedel, Regional Trade Manager at the Minnesota Trade Office, will give a short briefing on booth and grant opportunities for WATEC 2021 and on export opportunities in Israel’s water sector.
