Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, representative of the US-Israel Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey, will co-host with Delaware Sustainable Chemistry Alliance (DSCA) a virtual life event educating about funding opportunities for regional – Israeli innovative joint ventures. Annually, BIRD awards 30 grants of up to $1 million to product or service co-development projects. BIRD takes no equity in the companies.
BIRD’s scope extends to Agriculture, Communications, Construction Technologies, Electronics, Electro-optics, Life Sciences, Software, Homeland Security, Renewable and Alternative Energy and other technology sectors.
