From farm-to-fork, the food supply chain is reinventing itself to stay competitive in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. BIRD Foundation; Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce (PICC), which represents BIRD in Southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware; Israel Economic Mission in New York; New Jersey-Israel Commission; The New Jersey Food Manufacturing Association; Choose New Jersey, and Rutgers Food Innovation Centers invite you to a webinar on an opportunity to win a grant of up to $1 million for your next innovative development project.
The U.S.-Israel Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation annually awards 25-30 grants of up to $1 million to U.S.-Israeli product development, including for sustainable food supply chain innovation. Projects include ag-tech, alternative ingredients and proteins, substitutes for sugar and salt, manufacturing/automation, data mining and forecasting, water-tech, communications, inventory management, quality control, supply chain logistics, sustainable packaging materials and more. The BIRD Foundation assists companies by introducing them to potential Israeli partners and coaching them on how to submit a successful grant request.
