Come learn about Israel's dynamic technology driven economy and how the Israeli Government is investing in American companies that tap into their high-tech research and development capabilities.
The event will feature Ms. Michal Miasnik, the BIRD Foundation U.S. West Coast Representative, who will provide insight on how New Mexico companies can tap into these tremendous resources.
Ms. Bracha Shlomo, Director of Trade and Investment of the Israel Economic Mission, will present Israel’s goals and activities to enhance business cooperation between Israel and the U.S.
Mr. Gary Oppedahl, Director of the City of Albuquerque Economic Development Department, will share his experience leading the first New Mexico company to ever receive a BIRD Foundation Grant. Mr. Oppedahl will also shed light on current initiatives underway to support local entrepreneurs and his vision to make Albuquerque the entrepreneurial capital of the United States.
Last but not least, learn about one of the biggest success stories of all, Intel's emergence as the world leader in semiconductor chip manufacturing and why the decision to work in Israel has been an important component to the company's success.
