Mark your calendar and plan to attend BioNJ’s Entrepreneurship Program, Thursday, October 29, hosted by Rutgers University. Join us for BioNJ’s newest program as part of our series for early stage companies.

Those in attendance will include venture capitalists, corporate VCs, angel investors, technology transfer professionals, senior executives of early stage and emerging growth companies, university researchers, incubators and premier service providers.


The half-day event from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. will feature:

·       A Keynote by Satish Jindal, Ph.D., CEO of Allied-Bristol Life Sciences (ABLS), a partnership between Bristol-Myers Squibb and Allied Minds. Using his extensive experience in forming and building biotechnology companies, Dr. Jindal will share anecdotal stories on ABLS’ unique innovator funding model.

·       The U.S.- Israel R&D Fund (BIRD) will deliver a case study giving an overview of the Fund, as well as insights from Genewiz, one of its funding recipients.

·       The NJ Health Foundation will deliver a case study featuring Actinobac, one of its portfolio companies.

·       Lunch Program featuring Brian Leuthner, President and CEO of Edge Therapeutics, just off a highly successful IPO, on the non-traditional path that Edge took to raise money.

·       The results from BioNJ’s Entrepreneurship Survey, including what has worked in the past and what it means for companies in the New Jersey ecosystem.
